Job Description The Honors Program invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach Honors seminars during the 2025-26 and/or 2026-27 academic years.

We seek applicants to teach seminar-style electives in the following areas, which align with La Verne’s General Education requirements: Creative Expression (Creative and Artistic Expression Interdisciplinary Seminar, HONR 351), Life Sciences (Life Science Interdisciplinary Seminar, HONR 321), or Physical Sciences (Physical Science Interdisciplinary Seminar, HONR 322).

These courses can be on a subject of the applicant’s choice, but should be advanced in their content, accessible to non-majors, & interdisciplinary in approach.

These will be in-person courses on La Verne’s main campus.

    Hiring Pay Rate Hiring Salary Per Hiring Rank:
  • Adjunct Instructor (no terminal degree): $28.70

  • Adjunct Professor (with terminal degree): $29.80

  • College of Law (Professional Degree Prevailing Rates Pre-Selected Course ONLY): $60.69

  • Bachelors of Science, Nursing Program (Professional Degree Prevailing Rates): $50.00

  • Physician Assistants’ Program (Professional Degree Prevailing Rates): $104.00
