Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services Coordinator, Sign-Language Interpreters provide communication access sign-language interpreting (SLI) to Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals, including students, faculty, staff, and university guests.
Incumbents facilitate communication by using American Sign Language (ASL) to provide sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign transliteration and interpretation services in a wide array of academic settings and public events.
