Job description

Job Title: Human Resource Learning and Development Lead
Job Description: The University of Phoenix, Inc.

seeks a Human Resource Learning and Development Lead based in Phoenix, AZ to implement the business unit's talent agenda, focusing on learning and development initiatives, including Title IV covered workforce planning, selection, performance management, and retention strategies.

Work to upgrade employee skillsets in a call center environment.

Evaluate business reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.

Assist in the implementation of new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed.

Implement learning and development solutions in partnership with business leaders and counterparts to address key skill gaps or to leverage key strengths within the department.

Ensures leaders in a Title IV covered space understand and work within the Title IV regulations.

Takes a lead role in succession planning training and professional development plans, identifying and assisting management by creating training solutions to capability gaps within the department.

Execute training plans on matters related to cultural change, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion and talent management.

Build and maintain productive working relationships with the cross-divisional Human Resources teams, shared service groups.

Provide training regarding covered compensation actions Ensure all new hires are onboarded effectively and able to advise students compliantly.

Lead the development of content and execution of training activities.

Position may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. up to 5 days per week.

Annual salary: $87,000.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field plus 4 years of human resource experience with:
1)Workforce planning, selection, performance management, and retention strategies; 2) Developmental and effectiveness issues; 3) Succession planning and professional development plans; 4) FMLA, ADA and EEO law; 5) Training adult learners; and 6) HR support for an organization with at least 1000+ employees.

Must have 2 years of HR experience with: 7) Hirings, terminations, leaves, transfers, promotions in all 50 states; 8) Call center environment with regulatory requirements, and 9) At an organization governed by Title IV regulations.
