ROLE:
The HR Intern will play a vital role in documenting HR processes and supporting talent acquisition efforts across our manufacturing sites.
This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment and exposure to the full spectrum of HR functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Process Documentation
Observe and document HR workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and compliance proceduresAssist in creating and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for HR-related activitiesCollaborate with HR team members to identify process improvements and standardization opportunities across plants Talent Acquisition Support
Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview schedulingParticipate in candidate outreach and engagement efforts, including career fairs and campus eventsHelp maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure data accuracySupport onboarding activities and new hire orientation logistics General HR Support
Contribute to HR reporting and metrics trackingAssist with employee file audits and compliance checksProvide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to handle confidential information with discretionInterest in manufacturing environments and workforce developmentBe enrolled in post-high school education for the Fall 2026 semester.Minimum of 1 completed year in related field (preferred).Be considered a full time student (12 credits or more).Be 18 years or older.
