Position Title: IC Operations Manager

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Job Type: Full-time

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph (must have this to be hired)

Summary: We are seeking an experienced IC Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our programs within the Intelligence Community.

This pivotal role ensures the successful execution of our contracts by managing the workforce, maintaining project compliance, and championing continuous improvement all while growing our business through outstanding execution and Business Development support..

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can balance administrative duties with strategic oversight to support both our team members and mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Engagement and Optimization

• Conduct performance optimization through regular reviews, goal setting, and coaching to maximize team productivity.
• Facilitate training and professional development initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison for employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment.

Contract Execution and Management

• Coordinate with various levels of management, including project/program managers, site leads, and upper management. 
• Support contract execution by meticulously tracking cost, schedule, and performance.
• Collaborate with prime PMOs to ensure the timely and accurate submission of all CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements Lists).

Risk, Opportunity, and Quality Management

• Lead operations risk management by proactively identifying potential issues and coordinating with program and company resources to develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct opportunity management to identify and capitalize on avenues for program growth and enhanced mission support.
• Implement company quality assurance protocols, including customer engagement and independent performance reviews.
• Ensure the effective resolution of corrective actions to address any performance deficiencies.

Business Development Support

• Proposal support
• Conduct Client meetings
• Look for adjacent opportunities

Process Improvement

• Champion a culture of process improvement by analyzing workflows to identify and address inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement new best practices to streamline operations.

HR and Administrative Support

• Oversee on-boarding for new hires and support various HR activities.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and professional development.

Secure Facility Operations

• Collaborate with CSSO/FSO to Ensure the compliant and efficient operation of a secure facility, including enforcing physical security protocols.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree (complete or in progress).

Experience: 2-10 years of experience in program management, operations, or a related field within the Intelligence Community.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Ability to turn difficult situations into constructive conversations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with contract management principles.

Physical Requirements: Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Pay: Annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $180,000.
  
  Salaries depend on labor category, years of experience, education, skills relevant to the position, and type of contract.
