**The Role:** S&P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for our 10-week summer internship program in from June 2026 within our Research and Analytics business.

**The Team:**   Join a globally recognized team that provides strategic insights and expertise in energy markets, climate solutions, and sustainable strategies for clients across various sectors, including Oil, Gas, Power, Chemicals, Agri, and Metals.

**Responsibilities and Impact: **

+ Conduct research and analyze market trends in energy and climate sectors.


+ Support modelling efforts and collaborate with global analysts.


+ Utilize tools like Python, Power BI, and Excel for data structuring and visualization.


+ Participate in policy evaluation and data management tasks.


+ Engage with industry experts to gain insights into energy transition dynamics.



**Basic Required Qualifications:**

+ **Please note that only candidates who are US citizens or green card holders will be considered for this position.**
+ Current undergraduate or graduate student graduating May/June 2027.
+ Must have experience or strong interest in commodities, energy global markets and overall interconnected energy business ecosystem.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.


+ Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn and explore new ideas.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


+ Proficiency in data analysis tools like Python, Power BI, and Excel.



**Additional Preferred Qualifications: **

+ Experience in market analysis or policy evaluation.


+ Familiarity with energy markets, climate solutions, and sustainable strategies.


+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
