**About the Role:**

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and
qualifying sales opportunities for the Confluent sales team.

This position lays the foundation for a successful high tech sales career.

There is a clear career growth path within Confluent for the right candidate that is willing to learn, work hard, and succeed.

**What You Will Do:**

+ Work with top enterprise and commercial accounts in your assigned territory
+ Qualify & convert inbound leads into opportunities for our sales teams
+ Direct prospect engagement through a multi-threaded approach that prioritizes calling, as well as utilizing email and LinkedIn communication
+ Initial prospect discovery and qualification before passing off to sales
+ Join a structured sales training program with clear milestones, and a career progression plan for strong performers

**What You Will Bring:**

+ 1-2 years experience; technical aptitude/curiosity
+ Basic knowledge of SDR concepts, practices, procedures, and principles
+ Passion for Sales and the desire to grow and excel
+ Ability to independently solve problems
