Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the ND DOCR team and make a difference in our communities! We are looking for an Information Technology Manager to serve as our central point of contact for all information technology related items.

This position collaborates with stakeholders across multiple business units to identify, document and prioritize IT business requirements and solutions that meet agency needs.

The salary range for this position is $ 6,600-7,600 per month.

In this role, you will be stationed out of DOCR's Central Office in Bismarck, ND.

Upon completion of a six-month probationary period, the employee may have the option of teleworking two to three days a week.

Summary of Work

In the Information Technology Manager role, you will serve as the department’s liaison with North Dakota Information Technology Department (NDIT).

Provide strategic operational management over the design, development, and implementation of information systems, software applications, data infrastructure and process improvements that meet agency needs.

Manage and maintain the agency’s IT budget, procurement and contract management for $5 million+ budget.

Must demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, project management, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Leading multiple agency-wide technology, process improvement, and transformational projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Agile Framework, business requirements gathering, and systems design.

Experienced in outcomes-based technology solutions, secured infrastructures, and future planning.

Strong communication skills; approachable and adaptable.

Experienced in driving large initiatives using change management principles.
