Using SNMP/NetFlow/sFlow/ICMP/syslog for monitoring and managing network performance.

Regularly updating firewall rules and configurations to protect against emerging threats.

Monitoring the old and new network to ensure stability and performance.

Providing pre and post-migration support for old and new network architectures.

Troubleshooting to address any complex issues that arise.

Assessing current network usage and predicting future needs to ensure that the network can handle increased loads without performance degradation.

Implementing upgrades and expansions to the network infrastructure as necessary.

Experience with using automation tools to automate the deployment and configuration of network devices, ensuring consistency and reducing manual errors.

Using internal systems (similar to Git) to track and manage changes to network configuration files, enabling rollback to previous configurations if needed.

Creating and maintaining network policies and procedures, including acceptable use policies, security policies, and change management procedures.

> Perform network audits to evaluate: Capacity usage (BW, space, power, etc), Unused devices
> Analyze for network reports and review network trends and suggest improvements
> Deploy agents to monitor networks by using Prod tools and enriching existing data
> Deploy dashboards to visualize KPIs from audits
> Support different tasks (internal ticketing system) coming from USB tethering and
> Remote Rendering
> Support PoC to deploy new systems, workflows or testing alternatives
> Support implementation of NetGram workflows and automation
> Support integration activities with other internal tools and systems ( test automation framework, AI/ML pipeline)
> Drive Software release management, Test & Validation: including Release life cycle management:
o Wired and Wireless nodes release selection
o Use Case definition
o Reports
o Define Upgrades plan
o Track new features on Cisco Roadmap
o Track security vulnerabilities and fixes on the network
> Coordinate Deployment in validation network (ie.

Validation Chambers and WLCs) and deployment in the fleet

Qualifications:
> Subject matter expertise in IP Networking/Routing & Switching (TCP/IP, IPv/v,
> BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and/or MPLS): network certifications, such as CCNA/CCNP,
> JNCIA/JNCIS, RHCSA or equivalent experience.
> Experience with G/ G Ethernet and CWDM, DWDM and optical transport network technologies.

Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP).
> Analyzing tactical situations, troubleshooting, root causing systems and tools, and problem solving via tasks or larger cross functional projects.
> Release life cycle management experience with software development and CI/CD
> Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware.
> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
> Work experience in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks.
> Experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP) and Optical Transport Networks (OTN).
> Familiarity with the Linux based systems and experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl)
