Infrastructure Engineer I
**Job Description:**
The Infrastructure Engineer is a member of the Arrow Electronics Global Warehouse Infrastructure Services team.
The Infrastructure Engineer implements and improves support for mission critical hardware and software to ensure the reliability and sustainability of the warehouse and Integration Center production networks.
This is an internal customer-facing role which requires excellent prioritization, responsiveness, and customer service, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In keeping with Arrow Electronics values and competencies, the Infrastructure Engineer develops and maintains positive working relationships with all contacts internal and external.
Candidates should exhibit a broad-based IT infrastructure and production network technology background; provide PC hardware and software support for our local and remote users; possess excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills and be creative innovators with a proven track record of supporting warehouse technology, end-user devices, network routing and switching, backup, recovery and other related technologies.
**What You’ll Be Doing:**
+ Providing on-site Infrastructure support for our local and remote users.
+ Troubleshooting and resolving PC issues.
+ Maintain and support industrial and office printers, including label printers, laser printers and multifunction devices.
+ Provide support for Mobile Device Technology (Zebra Tablets, Zebra Mobile Handhelds, etc.).
+ Coordinate with vendors for repairs and parts replacement.
+ Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches and wireless access points.
+ Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the company’s network.
+ Maintain infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
+ Assist with capacity planning and network growth initiatives.
+ Provide extensive local hands-on support assistance for other IT Teams (Server, Telecommunications and Network) to support the Integration Center and Warehouse production environments.
+ Maintaining up-to-date asset inventory information.
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting PC users and IT Infrastructure in a multi-location corporate environment.
+ Strong knowledge and experience with Windows 11, MS Outlook, MS Office, iOS and Android ecosystems
+ Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
+ Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
+ Understanding of wireless networking, including Wi-Fi standards, RF principles, and mobile connectivity.
+ Experience creating knowledge-base articles from ticket data and end user support interactions
+ Experience driving innovation, researching complex problems and delivery of proof-of-concept evaluations.
+ Experience participating in Disaster Recovery planning and on-site support as needed for DR drills.
+ Strong, demonstrable ability to establish effective business relationships with customers that facilitate high customer satisfaction.
+ Strong Visio/documentation skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
+ Instate travel when required (up to 20%)
+ This position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time.
Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required.
**Work Arrangement:**
Work schedule consists of four (4) 10-hour days; Friday - Monday fully onsite

**Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:**
$31.85 - $38.92
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
