Job description

Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6 Months (Tentetive)




Client is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing complex projects in a fully remote environment, ensuring that they align with our organizational goals and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

This will by a Hybrid position, will need to travel to and present in local Maricopa County areas.



Responsibilities


  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of infrastructure projects

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports

  • Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing stakeholder concerns

  • Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment among stakeholders

  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery


Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:


  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within infrastructure or IT projects

  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and within scope

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.


  • Experience maneuvering within local government agencies

  • Experience with Switches, understanding hardware process both maintaining and upgrading




Preferred:


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification

  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices

  • Experience in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline


Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies


  • Proficient in project management software tools (e.g. MS Project , JIRA, Trello, Asana)

  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, and storage solutions

  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex challenges

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage uncertainty effectively

  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on building relationships and fostering teamwork
