ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology LLC is seeking a Infrastructure Project Planner/Programmer  to support our customer in the execution of the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

  • The Infrastructure Project Planner/Programmer will support mission critical Military Construction (MILCON) and Unspecified Minor Military Construction (UMMC) project programming to serve the needs of the organization to help ensure the mission success of Kirtland AFB.
  • Responsible for all military construction planning and programming requirements for the installation in accordance with Federal and Air Force guidelines with consideration for life cycle, mission change, catastrophic failures, activity management plan, and more.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with base management and advisory groups to plan long-range development.
  • Evaluate work requests for infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct and coordinate scoping, site visits, budgetary cost estimates, siting documentation, environmental analysis requests, economic analyses and project scoring analysis for planned projects.
  • Provide the primary communication between the installation and higher headquarters to advocate for base priorities.
  • Develop and update project programming trackers, reports, and briefings.
  • Prepare, participate in, or conduct briefings, meetings, conferences, design charrettes, etc.

  • Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in applied science (Architectural/Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Planning, or related degree)
  • Minimum of two years' experience in project development, planning, and/or programming.
  • Professional knowledge of engineering/programming concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques to effectively apply theories, principles, and concepts to installation programming, planning, and optimization programs.
  • Skill in communicating orally and in writing with clarity, conciseness, and persuasiveness.
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to prepare and present presentations/briefings to internal and external customers.
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 software suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Be willing and able to work with customers and coworkers in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

  • Must be a US citizen and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a government-issued security clearance.

  • Must maintain a valid US driver's license.

  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience at a US military installation, other government agency, or similar size and scope facility complex/campus.
  • Proficient in use of BUILDER and NexGenIT.
