As an installer, you'll be responsible for the professional and accurate assembly and installation of a wide range of commercial and office furniture.

You'll work closely with project managers and clients to ensure every installation project is completed on time, to specification, and to the highest standard of quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation instructions to accurately assemble and install office furniture systems, cubicles, desks, seating, and other interior components.
Unload and stage furniture and materials at job sites, ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Inspect products for defects or damage prior to and during installation, and report any issues to the project manager.
Work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all company and OSHA safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other contractors on site to coordinate tasks and address any challenges that arise.
Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available and in working order for each job.
Perform site cleanup after installation is complete.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Previous experience as an office or commercial furniture installer.
A background in carpentry or a related trade.
Familiarity with project management software or mobile applications for tracking job progress.
A professional and customer-service-oriented demeanor.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience in a role requiring the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or schematics.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy furniture and equipment (up to 50 lbs or more) for extended periods.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
