Description
The Knowledge Management Instructional Designer identifies, develops, and supports the launch of impactful training content across the Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs (GQRA) organization and across Agilent for GQRA-owned content.
Key responsibilities include:
Working with Global Quality Compliance & Systems organization, develops strategic compliance training programs for use within GQRA and the broader Agilent organization.
Supports company-wide, or Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs centered, training programs and strategic projects focused on improving the learning technology across Agilent (including the LMS).
Analyzes training performance metrics, KPIs, and other performance indicators to assess the health of the Knowledge Management system and identify potential opportunities and training priorities for the organization.
Communicates global training programs across the broader organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops innovative training solutions for key GQRA initiatives including, but not limited to, the Annual QMS Refresher and other impactful eLearning programs ( Annual GMP training, specific Quality process/system training as required).
Leverages emerging technologies, including AI, to tackle emerging compliance challenges and support stakeholders in designing experiences to improve organizational quality.
Partners with GQRA and functional stakeholders to identify training gaps, develop innovative training solutions, define success metrics, and ensure training content is effective.
Supports the Knowledge Management organization in the launch, tracking, and efficiencies of GQRA learning programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent.
Post-graduate, certification, and/or license is preferred.
8+ years' experience in instructional design.
5+ years’ experience in designing a variety of training content, including, but not limited to, virtual, in-person, hybrid, on-the-job, and/or micro-learnings.
3+ years’ experience in developing eLearning content in eLearning tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, and/or other eLearning content authoring tools.
Direct experience utilizing AI in content authoring is preferred.
Experience working for a pharmaceutical or medical device organization is helpful.
Experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge…).
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead multiple projects and priorities with a sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
