Overview:

The Instructional Designer and Program Manager plays an integral role in supporting the execution of the Commercial Readiness learning strategy by designing and managing impactful, learner-centric experiences.

Sitting within the Commercial Readiness Learning & Development (L&D) team and reporting to the Commercial Readiness L&D Lead, this role helps bring to life scalable, performance-focused learning initiatives—particularly in Sales Enablement, Sales tools, and Soft Skills domains.

This role blends instructional design expertise, program management capabilities, and a passion for continuous learning to support the growth and effectiveness of our commercial teams.

The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative learning ecosystem and demonstrate a strong grasp of adult learning theory, modern learning modalities, and performance-based design.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Learning Experience Development

  • Design and develop high-impact, instructionally sound learning solutions—including e-learning modules, instructor-led sessions, virtual classrooms, and blended learning paths—grounded in adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.

  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex business concepts related to Sales Enablement and Sales tools (CRM, SalesLoft, MEDDPICC) into accessible, relevant, and actionable learning content.

  • Deliver training sessions and workshops, facilitating learner engagement and reinforcing skill application with a focus on sales methodologies and tool adoption.

  • Learning Program & Project Coordination

  • Support end-to-end learning project management, including timeline tracking, resource coordination, and milestone delivery.

  • Manage learning assets across the content lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and version control in alignment with organizational needs.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of learning roadmaps, curricula, and role-based learning journeys aligned to business priorities, including Sales Enablement initiatives.

  • Needs Assessment & Performance Gap Analysis

  • Assist in conducting learning needs assessments using data, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics to identify skill gaps and opportunities for capability development—especially related to sales skills and tool proficiency.

  • Collaborate with the L&D Lead and cross-functional teams to design targeted interventions that address specific performance challenges and enable business outcomes.

  • Learning Ecosystem Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, and HR teams to ensure alignment and integration of learning programs within the broader learning ecosystem.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to gather input, align expectations, and communicate project status effectively.

  • Coordinate logistics for training delivery and deployment through Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other platforms, ensuring smooth learner access and experience.

  • Evaluation, Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect and analyze learner feedback, usage data, and learning analytics to assess program impact and identify areas for refinement.

  • Apply Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model or similar frameworks to assess effectiveness at the reaction, learning, and behavior levels.

  • Recommend and implement improvements based on insights to ensure ongoing program relevance and performance impact.

  • Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in Learning & Development, with demonstrated capabilities in instructional design, program management, and training delivery.

  • Strong understanding of L&D best practices including adult learning principles, blended learning, microlearning, and performance support strategies.

  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure program alignment and success.

  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Mindtickle, Workday Learning, or Cornerstone, including content deployment, learner tracking, and reporting.

  • Familiarity with Sales Enablement and sales tools such as CRM platforms, SalesLoft, and MEDDPICC methodology is highly desirable.
