We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team on large-scale power generation mega projects.
This role will focus on SCADA/DCS systems, instrumentation, and plant automation, supporting the integration, reliability, and optimization of critical control systems.
The ideal candidate will bring both hands-on technical expertise and project execution experience in complex, fast-paced environments.
Design, configure, and maintain SCADA/DCS systems for power plant operations.
Support the specification, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and automation systems.
Develop and implement control strategies to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and instrumentation issues during design, construction, and operations phases.
Collaborate with EPC contractors, OEMs, and multidisciplinary teams on control system integration.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Power Engineering, or related discipline.
4–10 years of experience in controls engineering within power generation, industrial automation, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with SCADA/DCS systems, PLC programming, and plant automation.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control logic, and system integration.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (NERC, FERC, PJM) and cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, and construction teams in a field-oriented environment.
