Job Description:Immediate need for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience performing Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Design on a variety of residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects.
THIS IS IN-OFFICE!
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for a variety of building types
- Perform site surveys of existing HVAC systems
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Prepare mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Decide on equipment selection of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and fans
- Review and approve contractor shop drawings
- Respond to requests for information (RFIs)
- Review and approve change orders
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of Mechanical Engineering experience with MEP firms
- Proven experience designing HVAC systems
- Ability to review and approve contractor shop drawings
- Qualified candidates will have the ability to interpret professional journals and technical procedures
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information to a group of managers
- MUST be willing to work in-person
- MUST be eligible to work in the US
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
