Position Summary
This is a summer internship position on the MSAT Aseptic and Environmental Controls (AEC) Validation team.
The primary focus of the MSAT AEC team is to ensure the compliance of aseptic processes and environmental control systems for Cell Therapy Manufacturing Operations at Bristol Myers Squibb’s GMP facility in Bothell, WA.
The internship position will focus on creating training tools and job aids for AEC-owned processes such as aseptic process simulation (APS), cleanroom reclassification (CRC), environmental monitoring performance qualification (EMPQ), and non-routine simulation (NRS).
The internship will focus on creating educational resources and training tools to enhance cross-functional understanding of AEC processes, while also promoting consistency and clarity in the execution of related tasks.
The full-time internship will take place June - August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Gain an understanding of AEC validation processes such as aseptic process simulation (APS), cleanroom reclassification (CRC), environmental monitoring performance qualification (EMPQ), and non-routine simulation (NRS)
Drive the development of e-learning modules that will provide training on AEC validation processes
Create job aids for the execution of AEC validation processes
Qualifications & Experience
Currently pursuing a life science/STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Familiarity with aseptic processing and facility qualification
Experience with developing training tools
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Strong team collaboration skills, a curious mindset, and a proactive approach to learning
All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment.

This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program.
Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.
The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is within the range of $23.00 to $42.00/hr.
Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS).
Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job.
