Job description

What Your Job Will Be Like:

The primary responsibility is to provide direct laboratory support for electrochemical engineering and research programs.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support during the development of electroanalytical protocols
  • C haracterizing electrochemical ionic behaviors
  • Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.

  • Tasks may also include nano-electropolishing, thin film characterization, as well as a spectrum of technologies supporting electrochemical deposition of metals, alloys, metal oxides, polymers, and nano-porous membranes.

  • Salary Range:

    Qualifications We Require:

    You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

  • Earned bachelor's degree
  • Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Qualifications We Desire:

  • The candidate should be a graduate student in chemical engineering or related discipline.

  • Must have experimental laboratory experience with:

  • Bench top chemistry
  • Electroplating
  • Microfabrication and process development
