We are seeking a **Information System Security Officer 5 (ISSO)** to join our **Security and Electronic Systems (SES)** business Unit.

As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a dynamic team of system engineers and administrators responsible for design, implementation, operations & maintenance, and cybersecurity for large complex resilient hardware and virtualized infrastructure.

Responsibilities

As the ISSO you will provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.

Main responsibilities include:

+ Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
+ Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
+ Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.
+ Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
+ Provide support to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for maintaining the appropriate operational IA posture for a system, program, or enclave.
+ Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
+ Provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
+ Manage changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes.
+ Support security authorization activities in compliance with NIST-based Intelligence Community and DoD accreditation processes.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies.
+ Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
+ Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, etc.

to include system upgrades.
+ Administer the user identification and authentication mechanism of the Information System (IS).
+ Support planning and coordination of the IT security programs and policies.
+ Manage and control changes to the system and assesses the security impact of those changes.
+ Obtain C&A for Information Systems under their purview.
+ Serve as the Approval Authority for Information Systems under their control.

Qualifications

**Clearance/Citizen Type:** Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information **; active DoD TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance is required**

**Key Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity Discipline preferred, with 10+ years of progressive experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
+ Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas:
+ knowledge of current security tools
+ hardware/software security implementation
+ communication protocols
+ encryption techniques/tools
+ DoD 8570 IAM Level-II certification or higher.

Pay Range

USD $149,840.00 - USD $224,760.00 /Yr.
