POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Client Support Specialist is crucial in maintaining the technological backbone of campus operations.
This individual will be responsible for a wide range of activities from installation to troubleshooting, ensuring faculty, staff and students have the necessary tools for success.
The IT Client Support Specialist:
Maintain software and hardware systems associated with campus services Perform IT best practices and procedures while satisfying end user requests Perform related duties as assigned/required for efficient operation of the campus DEADLINE: Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Required/Preferred Qualifications
Required:
Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or 5 years of related experience Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines Strong technological skills Attentive to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner Service-oriented, motivated, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse population Ability to learn new technology and software as they are introduced into the work environment Ability to research and solve problems independently Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field Experience working in higher education Experience with audio/visual instructional equipment (Extron, projectors, microphones, etc.)
