About the Job: HEROIC.com (HEROIC.com) to lead and oversee the management and support of our clients IT operations within the Monterey Bay area.

In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation, security, and reliability of all IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.

This position involves hands-on management and support of client IT systems, overseeing project implementations, and coordinating with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong technical expertise, client and stakeholder management, leadership capability, and excellent interpersonal skills.

This position requires to work 100% onsite in Watsonville, CA.

What you will do: Maintain and administer hundreds of computer systems and related computing environments including computer hardware, servers, software and networking devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks.

Work closely with the remote helpdesk team to resolve tickets Computer Installations and Imaging Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of system configurations and processes.

Software Management & Installations Network and networking device troubleshooting Participation in periodic security audits, accountable for ensuring security controls are adhered to, systems are secure, and unauthorized access is prevented.

Manage IT inventory, and client relationships.

Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for system maintenance, security, and data integrity.

Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system administration, network management, and user support in a mixed Windows environment.

Lead and mentor IT support staff to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements BS/BA Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or comparable experience/certifications in an IT related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related technical roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership or client management capacity.

Well versed in a broad set of technologies including networking, storage, service desk, cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS), etc.

- Microsoft Windows, Linux - Active Directory, Office365 - Enterprise Networking - Virtual environments - Storage technologies - Endpoint Management, Computer Imaging Experience deploying and supporting cloud-based applications Knowledgeable with cybersecurity Best Practices, HIPAA, and/or HITECH requirements.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent English verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare-related IT Experience and/or industry knowledge.

Experience working with remote/offshore teams Project Management Training or experience (including software).

Background working with an MSP or MSSP environment Benefits Position Type: Full time Work Location: 100% on-site in Watsonville, California.

Candidate must reside near or within a 30-minute radius of the city.
