Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist to join our dynamic IT Enterprise Reporting team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, developing intuitive dashboards, and ensuring data integrity and reliability.

This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, reporting tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and Kinetix.

  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in reports and dashboards.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.

  • Implement best practices for data management and reporting processes.

  • Develop and Maintain process and technical documentation.

  • Data Integrity and Quality:

  • Ensure the highest standards of data integrity and quality.

  • Conduct regular data audits and implement measures to address data quality issues.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and reporting.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    A Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure, data analytics, and business intelligence tools including Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and Kinetix.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with SQL and other data querying languages.

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Core Competencies:

  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy department.

    This person will Interact with peers, senior managers, and other staff in their department

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be proactive in meeting and exceeding the needs of the leader and handling confidential information

  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Preferences

  • Experience with dashboard and monitoring tool views design.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.

    Pay Range:

    $86,300-$143,800/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
