IT Help Desk Technician – Immediate Opportunity

Located on a 32-acre campus overlooking the Hudson River, RiverSpring Living is home to the nationally recognized Hebrew Home at Riverdale and provides a wide range of services including managed long-term care, assisted living, memory care, and elder abuse prevention.
We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join our team and provide front-line technical support to staff across our healthcare organization.
This role is critical in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
Provide Tier I/II support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows PCs, applications, and operating systems.
Assist with deployment, imaging, and lifecycle management of new and replacement computers.
Support healthcare-specific applications and ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal security protocols.
Maintain documentation and update support tickets in the IT ticketing system.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1–3 years of IT support experience; healthcare experience preferred.
Proficient with Windows 11, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365.
Knowledge of desktop hardware, imaging, and deployment tools.
Familiar with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with troubleshooting printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT standards is a plus.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: Starting at $27.4725 an hour
