Job Description


The Manager, IT Procurement will lead and develop category strategies to ensure the strategic sourcing and supplier management of hardware, software, services, telecom, and/or cloud solutions.

This role will drive cost savings, optimize supplier performance, and ensure alignment between procurement strategies and business objectives.


As part of the global IT procurement team, the Manager, IT Procurement will partner with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) to deliver value across the organization and support enhancement of the procurement function's capabilities.

This role will report to the Senior Director of IT Procurement.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):


Strategic Category Management:


· Develop and execute global IT procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

· Ensure category planning and execution to align with key priorities for IT-related spend across all geographies and business units.

· Ensure category strategies drive innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.

· Establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers while maintaining competitiveness.


Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:


· Support and lead the management of global IT suppliers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

· Negotiate and implement global contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Manage supplier performance to improve quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.

· Oversee regular supplier reviews to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.


Stakeholder Engagement:


· Collaborate with IT, finance, legal, and other relevant departments to understand needs, manage risk, and optimize procurement processes.

· Serve as a key advisor to procurement leadership on all matters related to IT procurement, including risk management, technology trends, and category strategy.

· Partner with internal teams to ensure procurement initiatives meet the company's digital transformation objectives.


Procurement Operations & Process Improvement:


· Support optimization of procurement processes by driving standardization, automation, and efficiency across IT procurement.

· Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement processes.

· Ensure compliance with global procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing practices.


Budget & Cost Management:


· Manage specific IT procurement category budget, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.

· Drive cost-saving initiatives and track spend to ensure financial targets are met.

· Lead competitive bidding processes (RFPs, RFIs) to secure the best value for IT investments.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

· 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.

· Proven experience managing large, complex IT supplier relationships across multiple regions.

· Strong knowledge of IT categories, including software, hardware, telecom, cloud services, and emerging technologies.

· Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and driving cost savings.

· Demonstrated history of creating financial value in IT contract negotiations

· Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive procurement
