The Product Manager, Data & Analytics provides full life cycle management of products that empower data-driven decision-making across the institution, and university-wide leadership for all aspects of data governance.
This position works with university leadership, administrators and faculty to deliver high-quality, user-friendly data solutions that provide insights to enable decision makers to formulate and measure the effectiveness of strategies, and to measure overall operational effectiveness.
The primary accountabilities include product strategy, stakeholder engagement, and data governance.
Position Profile Works with colleges, schools, and departments to understand and define IT business needs.
Develops and recommends solutions.
Plans implementation, integration and maintenance of solutions into business process or system design.

Supervisory Responsibilities Provides leadership to projects or initiatives.

Physical Requirements This role is primarily desk-based with extensive use of desktop computers, phones, and other standard office equipment.
Work is performed in an office or remote environment with regular interruptions and deadlines.
Physical demands are typical of office work, including sitting for extended periods and repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse.
Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering results in a large or federated environment (higher ed, public sector).Demonstrated impact on satisfaction, reliability, adoption, or other metrics.Ability to work and collaborate effectively with partners, customers, and stakeholders with diverse perspectives and needsStrong skills in written and verbal communication, especially stakeholder communication and collaboration.Familiarity with IT risk, accessibility, and security practices.Comfort with IT methodologies and practices (agile, service management, etc.).Portfolio/product/project leadership at an enterprise scale.Track record of successfully launching modern data platforms and analytics solutions at an enterprise scale.Budgeting and vendor management experience.Experience standing up data governance, data literacy, and analytics training programs; chairing councils/committees.Experience with privacy/compliance in higher ed (, FERPA) and security best practices.
