IT Project Manager III

Job description

**OBJECTIVE:**

Responsible for planning and managing the execution of IT projects of medium to large size & complexity.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1.Leads or contributes to the overall design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.

2.

Understands and applies Project Management practices.

3.Follows standard procedures for a particular set of applications.

4.Develops documentation and delivers training in the fundamentals of various applications.

5.Scheduling expertise and cost management.

6.Authority to complete assignments according to standard operating procedures; Exercises own judgement in proposing a solution for handling non-standard assignments.

7.Developing cost estimates, project plans and execution of projects

8.Other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE**

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology

Experience

7 or more years of applicable and proven experience in leading Information Technology / Services Projects.

Licenses: None

Certifications: PMP certification preferred

**REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:**

1.Developed communication skills, both written & verbal.

Able to translate technical jargon to simple business language.

**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $83,178.91 - $105,315.23 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package.
