The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing projects according to the identified specifications, deadlines, and budgets.

The IT Project Manager drives the operationalization and execution of all assigned projects and follows the established project management methodology and IT PMO processes to define project charter and objectives, create schedules, and oversight throughout the entire project.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, then realign schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Establish and implement project communication plans, provide status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Guide and perform strategic analysis for the project
  • Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
  • Assemble and coordinate project team members; assign individual responsibilities
  • Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field required.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments is required.
  • At least 5 years of related experience required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams.
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
  • Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and PMP certification is a plus.

    Our Compensation and Benefits

    At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.

    The base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $120,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.

    The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location.

    Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

    Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 15 paid holidays per year.
