Pay Rate: $30.00/Hour on W2 (All Inclusive)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide professional, courteous IT support for employees across our Logan office and remote locations.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
The position is full-time, with a regular shift of 7:00 am – 3:30/4:00 pm (based on lunch duration).
Occasional flexibility is required (early arrival as early as 6:00 am or limited weekend work), but the schedule will remain within 40 hours per week.
Provide desktop support for internal staff both locally and remotely, following established ticketing procedures.
Build, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, phones (desk/soft), and mobile devices.
Deliver on-site IT support at the Logan office, including occasional assistance for leadership.
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 11 OS, including BitLocker drive encryption.
Provide technical support for Microsoft Apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
Manage account access and permissions using Active Directory and other administrative tools.
Set up new hires, including IT equipment, account creation, and system orientation.
Refresh employee PCs at end-of-life cycle.
Provide audio/video support for video conferencing, TVs, and projectors.
Participate in IT projects and handle additional IT-related tasks as assigned.
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Windows 11, MS Apps including Outlook).
Experience managing Windows computers in a large environment.
General knowledge of network technologies (DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls, etc.).
Hands-on experience with ticket-driven workflows, including proper and thorough documentation.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Continuous improvement attitude.
Strong commitment to customer service.
Experience with Active Directory object management, including domain-joined PCs and shared folder permissions.
