Job Summary
This position is for a professional-level IT Technical Analyst specializing in Executive Support.
The IT Technical Analyst will provide technical assistance to DTE Executives and their Executive Assistants, focusing on delivering the highest level of response, maintaining a professional presence, and ensuring exceptional technical support and problem-solving.
It is essential to give personal attention to accommodate the executives' demanding schedules while maintaining confidentiality.
The analyst will be responsible for configuring and managing corporate and personal devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, as well as video and teleconferencing equipment.
Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues with iOS (Apple devices) and Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) is required.
The role also involves coaching executives and Executive Assistants on technology-related topics.
Additionally, the analyst will serve as a liaison with other IT groups (Infrastructure, Networking, etc.) for support and coaching purposes.
The IT Technical Analyst will provide well-articulated, business-oriented responses to Executive inquiries regarding IT matters within their areas of expertise and will solicit assistance from other teams as necessary.
Ownership of all hardware and software issues will be expected, along with effective communication of status updates.
This position requires 24/7 rotational support with an on-site, off-site, virtual, or hybrid model, and may include home visits to executives as needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Accountabilities
Under general supervision, the role involves drafting documents and maintaining various project components, including features, requirements, use cases, change requests, review results, and other project artifacts in line with organizational standards and processes.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Participating in the identification of high-potential technologies and coordinating their implementation into the standard application practices of DTE.
This includes contributing to the development of plans, schedules, and projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly implementation of top-tier solutions that align with corporate goals.
- Collaborating closely with outside vendors to evaluate their solutions for relevance to DTE's business needs.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and conducting research or evaluations of specific products as required by management within areas such as Server Engineering, Network Engineering, Database Administration, Security, etc.
- Actively participating in working sessions to gather features and requirements.
This entails collecting information, analyzing needs, designing solutions, making recommendations, and taking part in the implementation process relevant to the area of responsibility.
- Being responsible for setting up and repairing infrastructure, as well as resolving desktop incidents.
- Acting as a liaison among stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to understand the organization's structure, policies, and operations.
Collaborating with team members and aligning with our architectural direction to recommend pathways that help achieve organizational goals.
- Handling trouble tickets and problem resolution when necessary.
- Providing planning and time estimates for assignments.
- Engaging in both independent and collaborative analysis activities.
- Working on projects of moderate to high complexity that may involve multiple business partners, interfaces, or systems.

- Broad understanding of analysis in the IT industry, including emerging technologies, industry standards, support services, architectures, systems design, and systems integration, along with solid knowledge of industry-accepted processes and methodologies.
