The Janitorial Supervisor oversees airport cleaning operations by managing staff, scheduling tasks, ensuring cleanliness standards, enforcing safety protocols, training team members, managing supplies, and coordinating special cleaning projects with other departments.
**WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A JANITORIAL SUPERVISOR**
+ Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the janitorial staff
+ Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain high cleanliness standards
+ Inspect areas to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols and quality standards
+ Provide training and guidance on cleaning techniques and safety procedures
+ Manage inventory and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment
+ Coordinate with airport departments for special cleaning projects and requirements

+ Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 18 years of age or older
+ Eligible to work in the United States
+ Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
+ Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
+ 3 years of experience in janitorial or cleaning services, with prior supervisory experience
+ Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and health and safety standards
+ Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage and motivate a team
+ Ability to create and manage cleaning schedules and tasks effectively
+ Good communication skills for liaising with staff and other departments
+ Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and supervise a team
+ Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
+ Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
+ Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
+ Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
