HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Ensures the cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and appropriate operational security posture is maintained and documented for the MTC USARPAC Type Training Enclaves and USARPAC Training Exercise Network
- Plan, design, optimize, implement, audit, and troubleshoot information system and networking hardware/software to improve the organization’s security posture
- Maintain LAN and WAN architecture in accordance with Risk Management Framework, DoD, Army, USARPAC, and local policies, procedures and guidelines
- Measure, analyze and implement new security protocols to increase efficiency against attacks, threats and/or vulnerabilities
- Monitors web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, and endpoint security.
- Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices (to include cabling) for exercises, training events and/or special projects
- Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
- Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel
- Serves as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis.
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network technicians, and may have supervisory responsibilities
- Serves as a technical team or task leader
- Follows DoD Directives and Instructions 8140, 8570-01-M, Army regulations AR 25-2, NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-39, as well as following guidance from other cyber agencies in USARPAC CSPMO, NETCOM, and CYBERCOM
- Implements and maintains standard operating procedures, implementing DoD, Army and USARPAC JMSC-IP Type policies and procedures
- Assures successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate IT policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's mission and goals
- Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: BA/BS (in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field with concentration in computer based technology); or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training
- Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience; Military and MTC experience preferred
- Required Technical Skills: Technical expertise in Information Systems Security; Advanced knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, methods, and techniques; Experienced in configuring and maintaining networking hardware/software systems to include routers, switches and firewalls; Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012/2016 or newer; Comprehensive knowledge of virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.); knowledge of the RMF process and STIG applications
- Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on information systems security; Strong understanding of SCA-V processes and inspection preparation; Experienced in applying patches/updates
- Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
