Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a CNC Programmer & Machinist - Precision Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to fabricate precision parts.
- Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues independently to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect parts using advanced measuring tools (CMM, micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Suggest and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality.
- Train and mentor less-experienced machinists.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
A vocational school or technical certification is preferred. - Experiences:
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machine programming and setup.
- 2+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience.
- Proficient in CNC programming (G-code, Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, or similar controls).
- Strong knowledge of materials, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
- Proven ability to work from complex blueprints and GD&T symbols.
- Other:
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder.
- Solid work history with strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $28/hr - $32/hr
