About Us
Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest-growing kids coding franchise, where children ages 5–14 learn to code by building the video games they love.

Our motto: Kids have fun, parents see results.

At our Arlington Heights center, we’re building a team of energetic, forward-thinking individuals who share a passion for delivering a fun, educational, and safe environment for every child who walks through our doors.

About the Role
We’re hiring a hybrid team member to serve in a dual role as both Lead Instructor (Code Sensei) for our Junior Program (ages 5–8) and Front Desk/Admin Assistant.

This unique opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys both engaging with families and supporting center operations behind the scenes, while also leading hands-on coding and STEM activities for our youngest learners.

We’re looking for a self-starter who is punctual, organized, engaging, and great with kids and parents alike.

  • Teach foundational coding concepts using on-screen and off-screen activities

  • Keep young learners engaged, energized, and progressing in a structured curriculum

  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress

  • Adapt and personalize curriculum to meet kids' needs and interests

  • Collaborate with the team to support other instructors and future program growth

  • Front Desk/Admin Assistant:
  • Greet and check in students and families

  • Answer and manage phone calls and email inquiries

  • Coordinate class schedules, appointments, and calendars

  • Assist with spreadsheets, presentations, and marketing materials

  • Maintain organized records and filing systems

  • Conduct basic internet research and place orders for supplies

  • Enter data and support email/postal mail campaigns

  • Keep the center tidy, professional, and parent-friendly

  • Qualifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Friendly, upbeat, and professional communication style

  • Passionate about working with children and families

  • Some experience with or interest in coding and STEM (training provided)

  • Comfortable with technology and basic troubleshooting (, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about creating a positive environment

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of responsibilities

  • Must pass a background check
  • Why Join Us?
This is a great opportunity to build valuable experience in education, administration, technology, and customer service while helping kids build real skills and confidence.

If you’re passionate about working with children, tech-savvy, and ready to contribute to a positive team culture, we’d love to meet you.
