Job Description
Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Software/Application Developer to support a key software development effort for our government customer.
This role is contingent upon contract award.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their development skills and gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments, particularly in support of IT Service Management (ITSM) systems like ServiceNow.
Responsibilities may include:
+ ServiceNow Development Support: Assist in building and configuring basic ServiceNow components such as forms, workflows, and tables under the guidance of senior developers.
+ System Support & Troubleshooting: Help with resolving minor technical issues, managing incoming support requests, and making configuration updates.
+ Requirements Support: Participate in meetings with stakeholders to understand system needs and document requirements for development tasks.
+ Reporting & Documentation: Help create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical notes.
+ Software Development: Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of applications using scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar.
+ Agile Team Participation: Attend Agile meetings, support sprint activities, and learn from code reviews and team collaboration.
+ End-User Support: Assist in responding to user feedback and making updates to improve the functionality and user experience of applications.
Location: This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.
Requirements
+ Active DOD Secret Clearance is required.
+ Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
+ IAT I certification (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) required.
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience required including ServiceNow.
+ Willingness to learn and take feedback from senior developers.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow project guidance.
