Pay Rate - $55,000 - $65,000 (Depending on level of experience)
We seek a Junior Business Writer to assist with the planning and execution of communications plans across all of IT in a large enterprise organization.
As a Junior Business Writer, you would help write newsletters, develop website content, and other support for additional communications channels as needed.
Responsibilities include assisting and executing routine communications, managing communication channels as well as being a proactive advocate for the established communications processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the development of effective communication of IT strategies, goals, initiatives, projects, and other relevant content by producing accurate, timely, editorially proficient, and compelling content and publishing using established IT communications channels
- Support and participate in communications tasks as directed by the Communications manager including writing stories, interviewing stakeholders, updating SharePoint sites, and developing presentations
- Use prescribed guidelines and/or policies to support the IT Communications and Engagement function and execute communication initiatives while developing strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Support employee engagement activities including meetings, events, videos, broadcast events, webinars, and more
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Change Management, communications/marketing, or related discipline.
- Proven written and interpersonal skills with a strong understanding of grammar and editing.
- Data analysis and synthesis skills; experience with MS Excel.
- Experience/knowledge of Organizational Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Effective communication skills including active listening skills and adapting communications style as needed to best suit the audience and situation.
- Ability to plan, develop, and deliver creative, visually impactful, consistent messages in a systematic, ongoing manner, involving the right people at the right time.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate in a fast, complex, and changing environment.
