We're excited to partner with the Monmouth County Vocational School District to hire part-time Junior Lube Technicians as part of the Work-Based Learning Program!

Responsibilities:
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standardsDiagnose cause of malfunctionComplete all work according to the applicable safety requirementsWork with supervisor/mentor to ride along onroad-tests of vehicles to ensure quality of repair workAccurately record time spent on repairs,utilizing company time clocking proceduresDocument work performed on repair order and document test procedures/resultsUse shop tools, supplies and materials in a practical and economical mannerMaintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by managementReview the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by managementConstructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.Excellent communication skills both written and oralActive Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriateCritical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time.Junior Fixed Operations Associate – Technician – No previous experience required.This is a non-driving role.
Dealership and customer vehicles will not be driven.

High school student or equivalent.
