Kinaxis & SAP IBP Solution Architect (W2 Contract) <p> </p> <p><b>Client:</b> Honeywell <b>Location:</b> Onsite in North Carolina (NC) or Arizona (AZ) <b>Contract Type:</b> W2 <b>Role Level:</b> Certified Solution Architect</p> <p> </p> Job Summary <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a highly experienced and certified <b>Solution Architect</b> to lead the design, implementation, and integration of cutting-edge supply chain planning solutions.

This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in <b>Kinaxis RapidResponse</b> and a strong foundational background in <b>SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)</b>, including its core integration points.

The successful candidate will drive the architectural vision for a synchronized planning ecosystem, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with Honeywell's global supply chain strategy.</p> <p> </p> Key Responsibilities <p> </p> <p> </p> Architectural Design & Strategy <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the <b>Solution Architect</b> and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Kinaxis RapidResponse implementations and its integration with the SAP landscape.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define the <b>end-to-end integration strategy</b> and data model between <b>Kinaxis RapidResponse</b> and <b>SAP IBP/S/4HANA</b> (including ECC/APO components) to ensure seamless data flow and process synchronization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead the design and configuration of Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions across key planning areas: <b>Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)</b>.</p> </li> <li> <p>Evaluate technical and functional requirements, translating complex business needs into robust, scalable Kinaxis and SAP IBP technical solutions.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> Implementation & Delivery <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee all phases of the Kinaxis implementation lifecycle, from blueprinting and design to testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) and Go-Live.</p> </li> <li> <p>Design and validate the configuration of Kinaxis objects including <b>Workbooks/Worksheets, Dashboards, Alerts, Scenarios, and key metrics</b>.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with Integration teams to configure and manage data exchange using technologies like <b>SAP CPI/SDI/HANA Cloud Integration (HCI)</b>, and Kinaxis integration tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct complex troubleshooting and performance tuning for both Kinaxis and integrated SAP IBP processes.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> Consulting & Leadership <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead technical and business requirements gathering workshops with cross-functional stakeholders, including Business Process Owners, IT teams, and C-level management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to project and support teams on best practices for Kinaxis and SAP IBP integration and configuration.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure adherence to best practices, global templates, and quality standards for all implemented solutions.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> Required Skills & Qualifications <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p><b>10+ years</b> of progressive experience in Supply Chain IT and Consulting, with a minimum of <b>5 years</b> focused on planning systems implementation.</p> </li> <li> <p><b>Kinaxis RapidResponse Certification at the Solution Architect level</b> (or equivalent proven expertise leading multiple full lifecycle implementations).</p> </li> <li> <p><b>Strong functional and technical expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse</b>, covering the full suite of modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP).</p> </li> <li> <p><b>Mandatory SAP Background:</b> Deep functional and integration knowledge of <b>SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)</b> or prior experience with <b>SAP APO</b> (DP/SNP) with current knowledge of the <b>SAP S/4HANA</b> planning landscape.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven experience designing and implementing <b>real-time data integration</b> between Kinaxis and SAP (e.g., using <b>IDOCs, BAPIs, APIs, or modern integration middleware</b>).</p> </li> <li> <p>Expertise in <b>Supply Chain Planning best practices</b> and business processes (e.g., IBP, S&OP, Consensus Forecasting).</p> </li> <li> <p>Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.</p> </li> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> Preferred Qualifications <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience within the <b>Aerospace, Manufacturing, or High-Tech</b> industry (Honeywell domain knowledge is a plus).</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with Kinaxis scripting languages (e.g., K-script) and advanced analytics/optimization capabilities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD) to understand the source/target data landscape.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., HANA, BW).</p> </li> </ul>
