We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

+ Design, implement, and operate features across Spectacles device, mobile app and cloud to enrich Spectacles product experiences and fulfill our vision of spatial computing
+ Work with Product, Design and partners across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products
+ Evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

+ Knowledge of software development in one or more of the following areas: mobile apps, backend services or embedded systems
+ You understand the operational aspects of your system and may participate in incident or hotfix investigation and resolution
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills

+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience
+ 3+ years of experience with consumer-facing software development
+ Proficiency in C+Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with building apps or services running on AR/VR devices
+ Experience with cross-platform development, such as building software running across AR/VR and mobile devices

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.

These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
