Employment Terms: This job is a part time, non-benefited position in the Health Sciences Division that reports to the Program Director of Cardiovascular Technology.
Salary : $15.60 per hour
Schedule: Up to 19 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications (H1001)
Current ARDMS or CCI credentials in Adult Echocardiography.
Minimum 3 months' work experience in cardiac sonography.
Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualification:
Gwinnett Technical College Cardiovascular Technology graduate with at least 1 year of full-time experience working in echocardiography.
Job Description Summary:
Assist the Echocardiography faculty and students in classroom/lab setting.
Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:
· Supervises sonography labs on assigned days.
· Assists students as necessary.
· Communicates with GTC faculty to discuss student issues as necessary.
· Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
· Works within the system in a resourceful manner to accomplish reasonable work goals; shows flexibility in response to process change and adapts to and accommodates new methods and procedures.
· Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately.
· Works when scheduled; begins and ends work as expected; calls in according to policy when arriving late for when or when absent; uses work time appropriately.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
