Are you a detail-oriented lab professional with a passion for quality and education?
University Health is looking for a dynamic POCT Coordinator to help shape and oversee the point-of-care testing program across our health system.
As our POCT Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant point-of-care testing conducted by non-laboratory clinical staff.
You’ll:
Develop, implement, and evaluate POCT procedures
Ensure regulatory compliance across all testing sites
Support quality programs aligned with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Provide training, oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a relevant biological/medical science
OR a Bachelor’s in business/healthcare administration with 5+ years of clinical lab testing experience
Completion of a CAHEA-approved clinical training program
Minimum 2 years of hands-on lab testing experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other data tools
Experience in training, auditing, or lab quality assurance is a plus
Certification required by ASCP, NCA, or equivalent national agency
