Job Description:
Lasell University's School of Fashion is looking for a new adjunct to teach our Fashion Styling course to undergraduate students.
Fashion Styling is an immersive course designed to equip fashion content creators, stylists, and event planners with a deep understanding of the conventions and visual traditions in fashion styling.
Students explore lighting techniques, visual identity, makeup application, brand influences, and hands-on styling through regular photo shoots.
The course also offers a lens into styling for various events and venues.

The Adjunct Instructor Will Be Responsible For
- Teaching and facilitating all aspects of the Fashion Styling course.
- Delivering engaging lectures and demonstrations on lighting, mood creation, and styling techniques.
- Guiding students through the history and evolution of fashion stylists.
- Connecting marketing principles to visual styling decisions.
- Organizing and supervising regular styling events, ensuring students gain practical experience.
- Evaluating student work and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with department faculty to align course outcomes with program goals.
Qualifications
- Master's degree, MFA or MBA in Fashion, Visual Arts, or related field
- Professional experience in fashion styling or fashion marketing
- Demonstrated knowledge of lighting principles and fashion photography conventions as well as the use of styling for events
- Experience with photo shoot planning and execution
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience at the college level preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
