Overview
We are seeking a Lead AI Visual Interface Engineer to join our AI Center of Excellence (AI COE).
In this role, you will drive the design and development of intuitive, user-centered visual interfaces that make advanced AI capabilities accessible and engaging.
You will lead efforts to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling visual experiences across diverse platforms and formats.
As a key member of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and UX researchers to understand system capabilities, constraints, and user needs.
Your work will shape how users interact with AI-driven solutions, ensuring clarity, usability, and aesthetic excellence.
This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and leadership skills to set design standards, mentor team members, and deliver high-impact visual solutions.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.

Atlanta, Georgia: $138,000 - $221,000 USD
Austin, Texas: $138,000 - $221,000 USD
Boston, Massachusetts: $159,000 - $254,000 USD
