Lead Business Systems Analyst Job Opening In New York – Now Hiring S&P Global


Job description

Responsibilities

and Impact:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed business requirements.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and create detailed documentation, including effective user stories, features, use cases, and process flows.

  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • By working closely with the development, QA, SM, and product teams, ensure alignment of project deliverables with business goals.

  • Utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Teams, Miro, MS Suites, and SharePoint to manage tasks and workflows.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and team members.

    S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $147,000.

    The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.



    This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan in addition to basepensation.

    However, it is not eligible for additionalpensation such as an annual incentive bonus or salesmission plan.



    This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.

    Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, information technology, business, or a related field.

  • 7 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in the financial information industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Excellentmunication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of identifying and improving business processes.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Teams, Miro, MS Suites, and SharePoint.

  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM).

  • Experience with lean portfolio management.

  • Previous experience as a team lead or in a similar role.
