**Job Description:**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Lead** **Network Systems Engineer** to join our team! In this role, you will get to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, high-performance networks while collaborating with key stakeholders to support mission-critical operations.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Lead and coordinate a team of network engineers to deliver high-quality network solutions and services.
+ Interface with key stakeholders to gather technical requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
+ Design, implement, and maintain secure wide area networks (WANs) and local area networks (LANs) using Cisco and other industry-leading technologies.
+ Manage and support encryptors and other secure communication systems.
+ Oversee the construction and accreditation of secure facilities (e.g., SCIFs) to meet customer requirements.
+ Respond to ad hoc customer requests and provide technical expertise across multiple office locations.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ 15+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in Cisco routing and switching.
+ Proven expertise in secure communications design, implementation, and support, including experience with encryptors.
+ Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing small teams and delivering technical projects.
+ Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and protocol analysis.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with stakeholders and customers effectively.
+ Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

+ **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Experience as a COMSEC account custodian or similar role managing secure communications equipment.
+ Knowledge of non-attributable voice and data communications systems.
+ Familiarity with the design and accreditation of secure facilities (e.g., SCIFs).
+ Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced networking certifications.
+ Experience with long-haul network engineering and tuning.
+ Strong understanding of enterprise-level network management tools and software.

**Security Clearance Requirement:**

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $144,800.00 - $260,600.00
