Job Title: Lead Process Technician – 2nd Shift

Location: Manitowoc, WI

Pay: $21.00/hour - $20 plus the $1.00 hour shift premium

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Lead Process Technician Position Summary:

A manufacturing facility in Manitowoc is seeking a hands-on and experienced Lead Process Technician to support production operations on 2nd shift.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys troubleshooting, and is committed to continuous improvement and team leadership.

The Lead Process Technician plays a critical role in ensuring production goals and quality standards are met while supporting, training, and leading other team members on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support rotational molding processes and related secondary operations
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure product quality meets customer expectations
  • Set machine processing parameters and conduct in-process inspections
  • Maintain and update production metrics and documentation
  • Train team members in technical procedures and safety standards
  • Lead process improvement initiatives tied to key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on new product setup and launches
  • Provide backup support on machines and during employee breaks as needed
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork
  • Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership or technician role
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train team members
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification
