**FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
**Position Details**
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of The City College of the City University of New York (CCNY) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position (Doctoral Schedule) in mechanical engineering design and practice.
The successful candidate will teach courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels, develop innovative instructional techniques, and contribute to curriculum development in collaboration with other faculty members.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching mechanical systems design, computer aided design (CAD), engineering materials and associated labs, manufacturing and senior design.
In addition, familiarity with incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into instruction will be considered an asset.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.
**Preferred Qualification:**
+ Experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
Experience in teaching mechanical systems design, computer aided design, engineering materials and associated labs, manufacturing and senior design.
+ Professional experience with industry and familiarity with AI are a plus.
**COMPENSATION**
$89,933 - $107,686
