Job Description: The Department of Physics at Binghamton invites applications for an up to three-year renewable, full time, Physics Lecturer position.

Principal responsibilities are to teach and coordinate introductory physics courses for undergraduates.

The candidate will work with staff and graduate student instructors, assist in coordinating courses, and carry out instructional goals.

There is also the opportunity for summer salary through additional teaching duties during this time.

Candidates with prior experience in teaching physics, coordinating large groups, teaching large enrollment courses, facility using innovative instructional methods, and familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom, will be given preference.

Candidates must have a Physics Ph.D. at the time of appointment.

The start date for the position is August 17, 2026.
