Description

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Houston-Downtown is seeking applicants for a Lecturer position.

This full-time position will entail teaching 15 semester credit hours per semester for our department which is typically five classes, as well as minimal departmental service.

The department seeks to hire an individual with a variety of teaching experience at many different levels.

This includes courses in mathematics, statistics or data science and ranging from freshman to graduate level.

It is expected to be a one year appointment.

Qualifications

The candidate should have at least a Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, while a PhD degree is preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates who have related teaching experience at UHD or similar institutions.
