Location Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) provides programs that wire students with in-demand technical and professional skills, including electronics, computing, communications, power, sensing, and controls.

We offer ABET-accredited Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, along with a Master's in ECE and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering.

Our students are well-grounded with hands-on experience in modern engineering labs integrated with faculty-taught lectures.

We help students spark their careers via internships in the technology industry and research with our expert faculty, and amplify students' technical and non-technical skills via leadership in professional societies and collaboration in engineering competition teams.

Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with a preferred start date of January 2026.

This is a nine-month contracted position.

This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Teaching undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering * Service to Department/College/University/professional community is expected Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications * A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

OR * A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.

Preferred Qualifications * Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level in electrical engineering * Evidence of implementing innovative and/or research-supported teaching practices * Prior electrical engineering industry experience * A Ph.D., or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
